Welcome

We have all types of rooms to suit your needs. Our private rooms offer hotel-style accommodation, but for the low prices you would expect at a hostel. For the more budget – conscious guest, we have dorms in sizes of 4, 6, 10, 16, and 24 beds.

The dormitories are sleeping bag accommodations, but for a small fee, you can rent a duvet from us. Meanwhile, the private rooms have duvets and towels included in the price.

Reykjavik Hostel

We have two kitchens for our guests to use. There’s enough fridge and shelf space for each room (or each guest). Each floor of the hostel provides many, generously sized private restrooms and showers.

Check in starts at 15.00 /3PM, and check out is by 10.00 / 10AM. Don’t worry if you arrive late or need to leave early as reception is open 24/7.

If you have any special accommodation requests – cribs, handicapped accessibility, group options or anything else – just email us at and we’ll do our best to take care of you.

Extras Pricelist

We offer super comfortable and warm duvets for a one-time fee of 1000 ISK.

You can also rent a towel for 500 ISK.

Each guest can rent a secure locker from the front desk. We just need a 1000 ISK or equivalent deposit. When you return your key, we’ll return your deposit.

We have a luggage room. And we are happy to keep your stuff whilst you climb hills and take pictures of Geysir and puffins. Free of charge of course.
